Authorship

All content on ErgonomicOffice is written by Jarrod Gravison with editorial review. We take responsibility for the accuracy, currency, and completeness of everything we publish. Content is reviewed and updated as products launch, guidance changes, and research is revised.

Research Standards

Every guide is based on:

  • Primary sources — ergonomics guidance from OSHA, the Cornell University Ergonomics Web, and peer-reviewed posture and workplace-injury research.
  • Spec comparison — product recommendations are based on verified measurements (seat depth, lumbar range, adjustability, build materials) and user-review aggregation.
  • Cross-referencing — facts are checked against at least two independent sources. When sources disagree, we note the discrepancy and present the consensus.

Review Process

Each article goes through the following before publication:

  1. Initial research and drafting from primary sources.
  2. Fact-checking — every claim, measurement, and specification is verified.
  3. Readability review — useful to a first-time buyer without talking down to someone already managing chronic pain.
  4. Safety review — any content touching posture, pain, or medical claims is checked against clinical guidance, and we avoid giving anything that could be read as medical advice.

Health First

Ergonomics sits at the boundary of furniture and health. We will never present a product or adjustment as a treatment or cure, and we will never recommend a setup that ignores real pain signals. When discomfort is persistent or severe, our answer is “see a physician or physical therapist” — not “buy a different chair.”
